ITA. In 2007 they went 66-96 (.407) and now in 2008 they went 97-65 (.599). That's insane. Longoria even started the season in the miner leagues and now look at him. Boson has some gamers who are very feisty and gritty and not afraid to get dirty but I still think Tampa will come out on top. I still think the better WS match up would have been Boston LA. However as my little cousin says in this game anything can happen.

I am there for you if you need a shoulder to cry on. I am with you go Rays. After having the storybook season they had the Rays have to win. This WS should be extremely low in the ratings. I hope they somehow manage to put on a show.

Normally I would be typing this message from work being that it’s Monday morning however I have the entire week off. That’s right kiddies I am on vacation. I have been working non stop and now its time to take a much needed long over due vacation. I wish I could say Shiri and I are going to Hawaii for the week but I can’t. However I can say me, myself and I along with some friends are going to four concerts in one week. It’s going to be a crazy marathon of shows. I started to feel a little depressed that Mir and others were going to concerts and I had nothing on the horizon however that all changed when 2 of my favorite bands decided to play a gig or 2 in my neck of the woods.






P.S. I used to watch basketball when the Knicks were actually good but now they are unwatchable. They are a complete laughing stock. My little cousin’s basketball team could beat them. They may be better then last year but they still stink.

Its 12:45 east-cost time and I am feeling a little depressed. Before I get into exactly why I am depressed I will back track to Monday. I met up with some of my friends on Monday and was about to head to a Counting Crows show when we got word it was cancelled due to the lead singer (Adam Durtz) getting sick. He had the Flu or something like that. So they rescheduled night 1 for Tuesday. Which was no big deal for me. So I ended up going to a show on Tues, Wed, Thurs & Friday. It was a mini marathon.

The Crows really went all out and varied their setlist. They only played 2 songs twice. That was by accident. They tried to not play the same song twice. After each show I managed to score a setlist that will look nice alongside my poster I bought at the show which is autographed by the band. I don’t know how other bands are but the Crows try and come out whenever possible and greet the fans after shows. You become one with the band.

The opening act at the Crow shows was a band by the name of Wild Sweet Orange. They were pretty good. Except after there show stopper they were given the single that they had 2 more songs. Which made them get into a huddle and pull something out of there @$% to play. The lead singer got frustrated. Their time management skills suck. All 3 shows rank in my top 10 live shows of all time.

The Crows reinvented all of their songs right in front of your eyes. Being that it was a GA show meant that you had to get there early to get a good spot, which I managed to do. It was nice that I had a ride to each show because I hate driving unless I have to. It was also nice that I had a friend who lives in the city so I had a place to crash. After spending a killer week with my favorite band and some of my friends I got to hang out at the world famous Apollo Theater in Harlem and catch Ryan Adams and the Cardinals in concert. It was a killer show and just being in that place was breathtaking because so many famous people have played there. Now I am back at home and even though I am still on a high from all of the fun I had this week I am starting to feel a little depressed because week is over and it’s almost time to head back to work.
