Not a whole lot. I wish I were as busy as you. Work has been really slow and I'm afraid I'll be hunting for a new job soon.

LEROI MOORE 1961-2008

We are deeply saddened that LeRoi Moore, saxophonist and founding member of Dave Matthews Band, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, August 19, 2008, at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles from sudden complications stemming from his June ATV accident on his farm near Charlottesville, Virginia. LeRoi had recently returned to his Los Angeles home to begin an intensive physical rehabilitation program.

He was so young and so talented. RIP.

I saw another good movie. Dark and down.

"The Dead Girl"

Stars Brittany Murphy, James Franco, Mary Steenburgen, Rose Byrne, Marcia Gay Harden. etc.

The story is about finding a murdered girl and the effect it has on four different people. I recommend it.

Feel free to come give me a hand because I could use some help.

BTW I managed to to find some time to see Tropic Thunder. it was very funny. At least I thought so. Half of the people I know that saw it said it was not funny and stunk and the other half said it was the funnest movie they saw all summer. Aside from Ben Stiller and the other big names in the movie one of the charictors who had a descent size role was Reed Fish (Jay Baruchel).

Ben's funny but his father Jerry is hysterical. Too bad they don't give awards to comedians because Robert Downey was great in this movie.

And in the hitting as well. I hope (Fingers crossed) yesterday was a sign of good things to come.

Speaking of TGIF I miss the days of being a teen and getting to stay up late on Friday nights and watch TGIF. Some of my all time favorite shows were on TGIF.

I still can't understand how the Rays can be in first place. They don't have a single batter on their lineup that's hitting better than .290. The Sox have 4.

I am still puzzled by that as well.

That's great. I like that.

Does anybody besides me like Tennis? I have been watching the US Open every night. Even though I have yet to keep my eyes open and watch a whole match I still enjoyed all of the tennis I have seen. It was the Wimbledon final that got me back on a tennis kick. While watching tennis on TV it got me thinking how hot Shiri would look in a tennis outfit. I bet she would look super cute. While I know it will never happen I would love to play her in tennis one day. I feel so deprived because I was not aloud to play tennis in HS. The coach was an !@# $%^&. Unless you took private lessons from him you were either a bench wormer or second string.

For anyone that has FOX Sports Net you can check out Beach Tennis which is an up and coming new sport. They just had a major beach tennis tournament in my town. Some of the players stayed at my house during the tournament. It was pretty cool.

Yanks had a good run in Tampa.

Remember the Seinfeld episode about the "Double Dip"? Well I just read about a study done that proves bacteria is tranferred by double dipping chips. Staph, strep and pseudomona all get trasnferred during the "Double Dip".
