Somone asked her if she would do another music video she said she just did one for her cousin's project at his University but that wouldn't be playing on MTV any time soon.

You guys are kidding, right? I think that the OP was putting you on. Seriously doubt that Shiri was in this video. The girl featured here is someone else. There are a couple of shots where the female bears somewhat of a (slight) resemblance to Shiri. But, in most of the scenes, it is obviously someone else.

Very suspicious that the OP started this thread and NEVER posted in this forum again. Look at their post count. Also suspicious that whoever posted the video to YouTube claimed that Shiri appeared in it it but they never identified the band. Furthermore, at the start of the video, the song appears to be titled My Room. It seems to fit the lyrics. But the poster of the video calls it My Girl. Does not appear to have anything to do with the lyrics of the song.

The following Shiri Appleby web site identifies 3 music videos in which she appears. There is no mention of this suspect/obscure video.

No malice intended. I hope that discussions & differences of opinion aren't discouraged in this forum. No disrespect intended to those who replied to the OP. No idea if the OP was actually sincere or if she/he was attempting to deceive. Apparently, this person posted only once and has not been around this forum for many years. For all we know this person may have had something to do with posting that video on YouTube. I noticed that OP joined your fan forum just a little more than 2 weeks after that video was posted on YT. And then seemingly disappeared. Coincidence?

I just found this website just yesterday in my effort to find music videos that featured Shiri Appleby. Is that really all that suspicious? I really thought that I had found an obscure video that featured Shiri. At first, from the positive responses on YouTube and on this fine forum, I thought that I had actually found a 4th music video with Shiri. Upon closer inspection, it was very apparent to me that the person featured in this video is probably not Shiri. I could be wrong tho'.

My intent with my positing was to resurrect and stimulate a discussion on this particular video. I am hoping that will happen. I decided to quote 7 posters, particularly the most prolific posters, because this thread is more than 10 years old and I suspect that most of the posters who replied in this thread are long gone from this forum. I am hoping that 1 or more of these ppl are still around and will review the video again and will, possibly, convince me that I am wrong.

Let's all take another look at this video and tell us what you think.


It does not seem reasonable that whoever posted the video on YouTube would be forthcoming about it. It appears that it was their intent to deceive viewers that it was, indeed, Shiri Appleby in their video. They posted the video more than 10 years ago and have not replied to any of the comments since they posted it. I can't see these guys now admitting that they were deceptive about their video.

Have you watched the video? What do you think? At this point, I would rather see the opinions of people who do not have a vested interest in the video than hearing from whoever posted it.

Are you referring to the OP video? Do you think that is really Shiri? Obviously her in the 3 other videos (see link in post #21). The female in the "My Girl" video has a slight resemblance to Shiri but appears to actually be a different girl. Try watching the video at least 2 more times while asking yourself, "is this really Shiri Appleby?"
