You said it Eric!! I'm back!! Been so busy travelling but finally I'm back home and plugging away at my computer.

By the way, thanks for posting that link Lulu for HIT (I think its the new name of the show in Asia) Tried the link, but it's asking for language of choice. Does anyone know if it can be downloaded in English? Don't think I'd like to watch the dubbed version. Nothing better than hearing Shiri's voice on screen!! (LOL)

Here are 2 songs for you about leaving and movin on up.

Theme from The Jeffersons

Well we're movin on up,
To the east side.
To a deluxe apartment in the sky.
Movin on up,
To the east side.
We finally got a piece of the pie.

OR

Washington Square
By The Counting Crows

I sold my piano
It couldn't come with me
I locked up my bedroom
And I walked out into the air
When nothing I needed
Was left there behind
I walked out through the shadows
Of Washington Square
I wandered the highway
From Dublin to Berkeley
And I heard the songbirds
Of BallyPooreen
But I loved like a fountain
And it left me with nothing
Just memories of walking
Through Washington Square
Now I live in the shadows
Where light is electric
And time is a number
That rests on a wall
And nobody knows me
My friends and my family
Are as far from this city
As Washington Square
So cover this warm night
In a blanket of starlight
and I'll follow this freeway
Out into the air
In case you should wander
and wanted to find me
I'm traveling homeward
To Washington Square

I love Washington Square... my favorite song on the Crowes CD and one of my first memories of living in NYC.

I love that song as well. That’s why I posted it. It has such a great folk storyteller feel to it. It’s timeless. It could have came out in the 60’s and fit right in. Believe it or not I got to hear that song in concert back in 03. It was a few days after Adam wrote it. Originally it just featured Adam on the piano. For the album the band gave it a complete makeover and added lots of other instruments like and went for a harmonica solo rather then your standard guitar solo. I wish more bands would use bass drums and banjos and harmonicas and pianos and stuff like the Crows use. I am board with the standard guitar bass & drum bands. Another fact you may or may not know is that aside from NY there is also a Washington square in San Francisco as well.

I do know that... I used to tag along with my brother when he went into SF (we lived in Grass Valley). If I remember correctly SF Washington Sq is between Chinatown and North Beach - you can catch a glimpse of it in the movie "Dirty Harry".

While trying to uncover some more info on H.I.T I found the HBO Asia listing for it which has a short description and a photo. I have yet to find any info that says that people outside of HBO Asia will get to see this. My fingers are crossed. I want to see this so bad.

Check this out on Friday evening I did a little research and put my brain to work. I was determined to get my hands on this TV show that had been turned into a movie. While surfing the web I found a website that streamed live TV from all over the world. One there many channels happened to be HBO Asia. I then downloaded a program called WM recorder that allows you to record streams from places like youtube or sites like the one I just found. After checking out the link I posted above to see when H.I.T was going to air I did the math and set WMR to record the movie which according to my math aired at 2:00 AM in NY on Friday night and translated to 3:00 PM in Singapore on Saturday Afternoon. My amazing plan was set and ready to go however at 2:00AM this website decided to show some other show. It was some Asian talk show. Being that it was in a foreign language I had no idea what they were talking about. It was kind of funny. Even the commercials made me laugh. So this amazing plan I had to get a copy of H.I.T failed. However I am not done yet. I will not be giving up. Does anyone else have anymore info on this TV show/Movie?

I've checked a couple of times to see if H.I.T. was on bittorrent but no luck.

Maybe it will turn up on DVD eventually. Being a fan of Shiri can be extremely frustrating! We don't even have the new Season of ER in the UK yet.

I was watching HBO last week and right after Entourage, To Live and Die in LA was flashed to be showing next. Then I remember TLAD but was not hoping it to be the same, so I hit info on the remote control and the title was HIT and as I read the movie summary it looked more like TLAD to me. I wasn't really interested to watch because I thought it's like a copy cat or something. Then right after a couple of commercials, the complete summary came up with Shiri's screen shot came up.... I couldn't believe it, I never thought I would see it ever. The show was amazing, she was amazing as Hildy. Have seen it three times already.

If you don't mind can I ask you what part of the world do you live in? When I get home from work I am going to check HBO out and see if I can find out some more info. Why can't they just show it in the USA?
