However I have my fingers crossed that it’s not dead. What is it going to take for Shiri to get a much-needed break and star in a hit TV show? Are people blind or what because Shiri so talented and so hot. She is long over due. She's got everything it takes to be a star. In any case thanks for the info. I can't wait to see the caps and if I am lucky get to see the pilot. I bet the girls at Shiri online would love to have a copy of that pilot or the caps to add to their amazing website?

Do we need to send some people some emails?

I don’t know about anyone else but I have been promoting this show like mad. I have told everyone I have come in contact with about this show plus it’s in my sing on every other message board I post at.

Thanks for the info., but I'll wait until USA makes it official. Last update it was a go and they haven't said anything otherwise. I like to hear news from the horses mouth.

I hope that it’s just an April fool’s joke or just a rumor. I am still feeling a bit sad but like NL said I am not jumping to any conclusions until USA make an official statement. I am still keeping my fingers crossed. I am also not saying anyone is stirring up trouble. I am just not going to jump to conclusions. I have wanted to see this show since I first heard about it.

Last update was July of last year. No changes since.

I'm not holding my breath that it will air, but I'm remaining slightly optimistic.

This article (dated March 26th, 2008) mentions that TLAD is still in contention to become a series. Fortunately/unfortunately, USA network has been extremely successful with their shows, so they are just waiting for a slot for TLAD. The cast member who said it was dead, perhaps her character has been changed/eliminated or she wanted to move on and asked to be released.

i certainly hope that this is the case. but if it were, they would have to re-shoot the pilot because she has a significant role, and they usually won't budget for that. i'm still holding out hope with the rest of you, the pilot was pretty good and i could definitely see it being a popular tv show. my sister has been in the tv business for quite some time, so USUALLY she's right about this stuff. i've been modeling and trying to break my way into acting through indie films, most of which haven't even been completed or fell apart before completion for some ridiculous reason, so i understand that the "business" can do this to certain ideas/projects.

i am, however, in the process of writing a movie with my partner and will be using all of my sister's connections to get shiri into the lead female role

so as soon as i get funding and shiri is cast in the part you guys will get all the inside scoops...

Pilots are re-shot and re-cast all the time. "Charmed" originally shot pilot never aired, Alyssa Milano replaced the first actress cast as Phoebe.
