As for being a party girl. I don't think this is a right tittle for her, For me party girls are like of Lindsay Lohan, Nichole Richie or Paris Hilton,, who drink smoke totally get wasted behaved scandalously and find themselves in rehab or in Jail for DUI.
I guess it's not her fault to get invited to a lot of social gatherings . Based on how well she conversed with people she is always a hit. She can join discussion on dinner parties or small intimate dinners because she has something to contribute without sounding like a pompous ass. And she's well behave. Actually she should write a book about it.

I think Shiri likes fashion but is not a slave to it. And she is a party girl, social and outgoing--she has admitted that. But she is a party that is not out of control, even though she is not as famous as the other girls and not photographed constantly, I can say that with certainty.

When I talked about fashion, parties, selfishness, arrogance...I didn't want to put it on her back as a sin. What I meant was "Who isn't arrogant? Who doesn't try to follow fashion?..." Well, she is like us.
She keeps it at bay: yes, but she's not an alien. The girl is normal.

Maybe arrogant is the wrong word. Perhaps, you just mean confident? I see Shiri as very confident, but not particularly arrogant.

She is normal, that's why I've always been able to relate to her and the characters she has portrayed. I expect that Cate, too, will be very relatable to me, particularly at this point in my life.

I think confident is the better word but I understood what she was trying to say.

Yes, arrogant is too strong, may be.

But also what I was saying is that, even thought she doesn't show it (in interviews and things we have access) she is entitled to have many flaws we don't imagine.
I don't infer she is arrogant from her interviews (that might be the point of confussion) I simply presume she might be, in some occassions, like everybody else.

Shiri is more homely She likes doing laundry and cooking. This is what I like about her She still appreciate the good old fashion ways that woman are known for . The one thing that she reigns over other celebrity is that her almost invisible presence in Hollywood afforded her a great deal of freedom and privacy. She can move around without the fear of being stalk, or that her words will be taken out of her context. Plus the fact that she will not be endanger of too much exposure. She's a working actress plus her fan base and admirers of her works, that she accumulated since Roswell are still here to support her, because she maintains her mystique. She's living a good life. a well balanced one that I bet her peers are secretly envious about.
