Community should be next after Eater. We should know by Monday.

This latest episode "In Sickness and in Health" was pretty good - but I had it figured out early.

Now the NBC site is listing no episode for 7/10/08 and "New Years Day" for 7/17/08

There were episodes that were just not worth airing, but I did find them midly entertaining. And anyway I keep thinking that if I don't watch the show the show's ratings will continue downward and they'll cancel it before they even air Shiri's show.

And I really want to watch it!

Not to worry. It's a summer show - it would have to have incredible ratings to get picked up in the fall. Meanwhile, they will air all the episodes they filmed.

Community should air July 24th a week after "Eater" which should air on July 17th. No episode will air on July 10th - some sort of special is on.

This week Stuart Gordon's episode Eater will premiere at 10 PM on NBC. However the schedule has changed once again for Fear Itself. Next week will be a week off but after that they will begin airing again with the following episodes:

7/17/08 - "New Year's Day" will be directed by Darren Bousman ("Saw II, III and IV"), and is written by Steve Niles ("30 Days of Night") from a story by Paul Kane. A young woman wakes up in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by horrifying zombies.

7/24/08 - "Skin & Bones" is written by Drew McWeeny & Scott Swan ("Masters of Horror") with a director to be announced later. When a cattle herder returns home to his family after being lost in the woods for days, he just doesn't seem the same. Soon, a terrible mortal struggle ensues against the terrifying monster possessing him.

7/31/08 - "Something With Bite" is a reinvention of the classic werewolf story from writer Max Landis ("Masters of Horror"), the son of John Landis. After a veterinarian (Wendell Pierce, "The Wire") gets bitten by a large, strange animal brought into his clinic, he begins to see the world and his stale life differently. Ernest Dickerson (NBC's "Heroes") will direct.
