I truly believe that the reason why Max and Liz are so often placed in threesomes in the fanfic world (Zan/Liz/Max, Michael/Liz/Max, Liz/Max/Tess *shivers at last one*) is because everyone wanted a piece of that chemistry. Maria was perpetually barging in on them and idealizing/envying their relationship, Kyle in S1 had an unhealthy obsession with both of them, and Tess was always trying to rip off M/L moments. Of course, Tess also seemed to be very invested in Mi/I, so I guess she was just a watcher.

The whole Blind Date episode is made of WIN!!

Blind Date is possibly almost as lovely as the Pilot. Definitely not as epic, but it was the episode that really proved to me that M/L had arrived and the writers weren't going to screw around with us anymore. Of course, look how that turned out. :/ Still... there is something very magical about that episode. Even with the sappiness of some of the lines and the overall fluffiness of a random "dream girl" radio winner, it managed to be hot and emotional and [kind of] truthful. It had a much better plot than the glorious Heat Wave.

Then again, Sexual Healing was the introduction of about fifty plotholes and I still love that episode above all others. You just don't beat JB/SA chemistry.

Why do you make so difficult questions?how can a dreamer choose the best scene between 1000best scenes .However,I don't have just scenes,I have epis where I totally loved M&L scenesilot, 285 South,Heatwave,Blind Date,Sexual Healing,Destiny (the van scenes).I mean,almost all S1.Then,in other seasons there are a few scwnws,but I on't go crazy abt them

You just don't beat JB/SA chemistry.

I love that scene. Till this day, Max and Liz, are still the couple with the most chemistry. I've watched LOTS of series and only Buffy and Angel come close to them.

when i watch the pilot i can't help but notice Max looking at her i keep on thinking about Max looking at her the whole time she's doing her show with the tourists knowing that Max was the real alien of the crash that scene is kind of ironic like Max's dress at the crash festival.

in the first season it seemed that she had written on her face "kiss me" everytime Max was with her. she was adorable

the longing was what created their amazing UST. i don't know how they could resist 9 episodes before kissing each other
i don't regret the time they took and how long i had to await for their first kiss because i love their chemistry, i love the ust and i like when couples are really developed. I believe in love at first sight but i also believe that it's better when you get the chance to actually know someone too and Max and Liz knew each other very well before they started a real relationship. technically they knew each other since they were kids i like that they were friends and lovers

Yeah, I never got their restraint either! The storyline didn't measure up or make sense of the physical chemistry they had when in the same scene with each other. Shiri and Jason's chemistry was too much for a storyline where we never actually saw them make love and when they did, it was the last season? Yeah, right. Like Max and Liz would have waited three years in real life!

their connection was very intimate and emotional not just physical (i believe that they were connected into a way that is beyond normal relationships and what they shared was more intimate than making love) BUT they were a very passionate couple too. you're right Jason and Shiri's chemistry was so powerful that went outside the plot and i agree with who said that they added it in season 3 not just the writers.

i have to say that they were the only couple who always stayed passionate till the very last episode. maybe it was their secret
they started later but they started for good.

as a married couple i bet that their "honeymoon" will last forever
