I have tats and I love every single one. Some don't mean anything, but I love them. People get tats because they want to. Nothing, imo, "stupid" about that.

I didn't say it was "stupid" I just said it was something you didn't usually start after the age of thirty. Most people who are going to have tattoos get their first tattoo during their teen years or early 20s.

I know you didn't say it was stupid. It irks me when people say you have to get a meaningful tattoo. My first two is a flower and an anklet of flowers, about 15 years ago, and I still love them.

The pharmacy I use has a tech who has a beautiful tat of a cherry blossom branch spiraling up her arm. It's one of the most beautiful tats I've ever seen.

It is stupid when people get symbols that they aren't even sure mean what they think on their foreheads. I've seen four people in the last month with them. Or people who are now getting little tattoos on their eyeball when it can cause blindness. That irks me. I in no way think of banning tattoos or anything crazy like that, I even want one, and I think tattoos of flowers and butterflies are pretty but don't expect me to think some tattoos are not silly. I am not into tattoos for various reasons. If tats are you thing then more power to you. I don’t mind looking at them I just have no interest in ever getting one. While some Tattoos can have lots of spiritual meaning or represent a time in you life good or bad some are just plain silly. If you plan on getting a giant tattoo of Adam Duritz (The lead singer of the Counting Crows) on your back at least pick a better photo to use. I once got an email with photos of gross and stupid and funny tattoos. One was a lawn mower mowing some guy’s baldhead and another one was a tat of Pinocchio. I am sure you can guess where the tat was. Ewww Gross.

I remember Brittany Spears got some Hebrew letters tattooed on her body. I found it funny because I think they spelled it wrong and while she may not be Jewish Jews don’t believe in Tattoos. Jews still get them but according to Jewish law you can’t be burred in a Jewish cemetery with Tattoos unless you are a Holocaust survivor or something like that.

Here’s the Adam tat for anyone that cares.

Having your boyfriend's name tattooed to you skin is stupid. In this lifetime, sometimes even husband's name is stupid thing to do. Alright it's different thing, when couple who had been togheter for thirty years takes them (like my mom did), but otherwise I think it's stupid

No back tat for me. Instead I plan on having Shiri sign my man boobs and then getting it tattooed. It will be right next to my Fan Forum 4 Life tattoo.

To be honest I am afraid of needles. Plus I would just not be able to get over fact that I would be scarred for Life. I would try and wash it off every chance I get.

Not to mention the whole religious aspect as well. I don’t mind looking at other peoples tattoos it’s just not for me. You should have seen me almost pass out while donating blood once.

I hate it when people get the names of their husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend inked on them. That is the definition of stupid in terms of what tattoos not to get.

Take Megan Fox for example. She has Brian Austin Green's first name inked on her pelvis area. And they've broken up. There is no way she doesn't regret that.

New FDA rules will require that tattoo ink be made from substances that are easily removed by laser.

I think The Smoking Gun has a gallery of really stupid tats. The worst I saw was a guy who had "Eff You" tattooed on his forehead. Wow...
