Ya I wasn't the biggest C/B fan at the time still believing that CR could make it work but I still loved that episode. It was just great to see them as a family

You can easily tell just how much fun they must have had filming that road trip scene.

I loved that episode! I wish we would have gotten more with them like that.

I think that's why S1 ended up being my favorite - it was the little family moments like that which seemed to be more prelavent. S2 still had some but I think it got tied down more into the drama of what was going down around them.

Ya of course season 1 was better because it focused on family and the core group. Season 2 had a lot of drama and had a lot of secondary characters, I still loved every minute of it but season 1 was definitely the better season

S2 still had it's good points. I wish they could have done more with the Valerie arc, they did what 'good' with it that they could, but because they were rushed for time, it felt like that story had to be rushed. Otherwise, we probably could have gotten some more angst-filled/bonding family moments out of the tragedies that Lux had to suffer.

Yes I know what you mean. The Valerie storyline was amazing and I loved it but I wish we had gotten more. A lot did feel rushed but it was understandable

Yeah, it was decent and delivered the major points the story was always intended too at least.

Yes, and I think we really do owe the credit to that. The story was cut short, BUT ... the acting by all the characters is what pulled it off to make it so we could feel for the story and the characters involved in it.

Ya if the acting wasn't so brilliant in that episode I might have been a little disappointed but I wasn't. I loved it and it was definitely my favorite of the season.

Agreed. I think that same point can be made for the last batch of episodes the show got. The actors/actresses really pulled it off with their acting talent, which I'm sure was alot of work to make sure they delivered an exceptionally believable performance.

The only point that felt a bit weird to me with the time jump was when Cate ran into a pregnant Julia at the doctor's office. That was definitely a storyline that needed more focus but Liz and the show were forced to give it to us just like that.

The more episodes I rewatch from the series, the more I love Cate!

It is too bad we were left with such a hurried ending, there were so many great stories still left to be told. Overall though it was a great end. The quality of acting and work the entire cast and crew did was incredible. Life Unexpected was one show that just got it right!

Another thing I wanted to mention is how gorgeous Shiri looked throughout both seasons! I love Cate's wardrobe.

Shiri really acquired a more mature 'look' on Lux, compared to the way I was used to seeing her back in her Roswell days. She did look great.
