yeah they dont it is usually done in post . most of the "dance" scenes there is no music just people dancing around to nothing

I know it's crazy!

I remember in one scene in Grey's Anatomy, when they filmed they were listening to Single Ladies but in post production they used a different song. But you can clearly see the characters doing the single ladies dance

I have definitely watched shows where a dance was held and it was clear the people in the background had no idea what they were meant to be dancing to

I've also noticed if you have on captions, it will pick up the song that they used filming instead of the one we hear

i know but sometimes they change the music , cause they need a perfect one
