i was! i still am

i've watched like every version of dracula and katie is still my #1 favorite version of lucy. it's not just that she was a lesbian character but that she brought so much depth and emotion to the role.

it's pretty good. it's not super serious or anything but i thought it was fun and i liked that they weren't afraid to make a very different adaptation of dracula.

there was one thing i didn't like tho ...

anyway it was super obvious then and now that katie and jessica shipped their characters HARD and were super mad about how everything went down. even now they still ship them and keep trying to get them together (apparently they wanted lena and helena to get together in a crossover episode

)

unfortunately the show was canceled after s1 so there are a lot of cliffhangers that never got resolved.

10 episodes, but 1x10 is lucy-lite.

i know, nbc did a crappy job promoting it and aired it in a horrible time slot. too bad. i feel like it would have done very well if it aired today on like a streaming service.

some of the cast would definitely come back if they were asked

but yeah i don't think you'll get JRM back. that's okay though, it could just be the lucy and mina with friends show.
