I can't really post much currently. Yesterday I injured my finger and now it is VERY swollen. I don't really know how I could have hurt it so bad.

im sorry to hear that. how did you hurt your finger? I hope you put some ice on it to help with the swelling. feel better soon, devoted

I don't really know exactly. The front door was open, letting some fresh air in and our cat, as well as another that just took up to hanging around were circling in and out of the house and my Dad wanted me to block off the doorway with a baby gate to keep them from doing it. I was setting the gate in the doorway, just gently leaning it in the doorway when suddenly I just feel this strong, sharp pain. I thought I'd possibly gotten a splinter or something, but I didn't see any splinter or a mark of any kind. But the pain was strong and didn't go away/fade for a long time. I iced it as soon as it started to swell and by the end of the day some of the swelling had gone down, but when I woke up it was very swollen and red again. I don't know what happened, if I somehow pinched my finger on the gate or what. All I know is that whatever it was really has my finger quite swollen.
