It was short, so I decided to go ahead and read through it.

The Verdict: Psych 2: Lassie Come Home feels painfully out of date, and not just because it glorifies taking down the bad guys who attacked a fictional Reagan-loving police chief at a time when real-life police brutality has sparked discussion and action across the world. I’m not saying I didn’t laugh. Roday and Hill’s easy rapport is the kind that can only come from over a decade of collaboration, and that goes a long way. There are a few fun references for NBC comedy fans, including an exaggerated wink to Scrubs via guest star Sarah Chalke. But the movie never justifies its existence. It goes through the same motions as the show, with older actors this time, and you get the feeling even they are tired of this. Psych creator Steve Frank, who directed and co-wrote the script with Andy Berman and James Roday, has said he wants to make a total of five Psych movies. Perhaps it can still be done, but he might want to consider a fresh approach.

Should I Get Peacock For This? No. This movie certainly won’t bring in any new fans, and even diehards of the show may find themselves wishing Psych would stay in its mid-2000s bubble.

Plus, they spelled Steve's last name "Frank" when it's supposed to be "Franks".
