Best episode of the Year...of any tv show this year
you guys are probably saying "dude, you really don't watch that much tv, do you?" I complained to Tia the whole season about the sadness of the show, but it all resolved itself, only leaving one sad storyline which they will deal with in season 2.... the whole journey of the season overall was a little rocky for me though
Spoiler:
btw...I don't watch much tv...just mainly sports, movies and reality shows. |

Yes the episode was great
at Yolanda saying "You're the silent knight!" Courtney getting through to Pat by saying she's his daughter was sweet. loved that moment.. they've come so for since they first episode when she wanted nothing to do with Pat. and how ironic is it that Rick and Yolanda do the opposite of what they were telling the other. Yolanda killing Brainwave surprised me she was so cold in that scene. she just seems so empty and emotionless right now and Rick finally getting to fight Grundy was awesome he needed that moment and by the end of the fight to see his growth an not killing and actually letting him go, wow. Really proud of Rick! Poor Beth losing Chuck. I hope they can find a way to bring him back. Icicle getting ran over by Mike, was my favorite part but what does this mean for Cameron? will he go to the dark side and become evil, especially since his grandparents I'm sure will fill him on everything. they been wanted to. Cindy doesn't mess around killing her dad.. she's killed both her parents and what was she looking for, that can't be good. __________________

I think my main issue with this season finale is that I believe ISA should've beat the new JSA team easily. For me we didn't really get to see JSA train enough to be as good as they are so I was let down. I would've rather the JSA lose, ISA plans got accomplished and during season 2 we found a way to reverse it.
If it was the original JSA then yes I am for it but not the new kids version of JSA, makes no sense to me. Good thing Starlight and Pat was on the team to make it even 10% believable to me.... |

Yeah when I was watching the fight I thought there was no way they should be winning this. but it's one of those things I just overlook an just go with the flow.

I just didn't buy it so it took a lot out of this episode for me. I think writers needs to know how to build up stories and let the heroes lose and eventually win. It would've meant more for me if we saw the young JSA lose badly and come back stronger than ever next season. Young JSA didn't even have Brainwave Jr. so no it didn't work for me at all. |

It happens on all shows/movies with superpowers. the power scaling to fit the moment, it's nothing new.

Never said you had to agree with it. It just something that always happens and this show is no different. lol I would have love to see more training an smaller mission that they where on to build up their skills/team work. but 13 episode you don't have time for that. lol

^ Which is why I said for me I would've preferred for the JSA to actually lose to prove what Pat was saying all season about how they weren't ready for this fight. During season 1-2, characters like Yolanda and Rick and even Beth and Courtney train to be the strongest they can be over like a 4-month hiatus since when shows jump back into season 2 for the most part, they always skip a few months ahead.
We get to see their journey to how they became better heroes after the tough battles of losing. |

Jordan and Henry were defeated way too easily.... I don't believe however that Jordan is dead... Ice'men have ways of reforming
That ending needed to happen because no confirmation on season 2 when it was filmed I think eclipso will take over Cindy for a while...then hopefully be on his own Shade will be new leader of isa... Grundy needs to come back too somehow Last edited by Make Them Laugh; 08-12-2020 at 12:54 PM |
