They were stranded there cuz Perry insisted they go. I think to work on their relationship. At the time they thought it was going to be a resort like getaway type of thing, but there was nothing on that island.
Lois wanted to go back, but Clark didn't. Plus he didn't bring his Superman suit.

Teri and Dean still have the best Lois/Clark chemistry. I tried to watch that new show and they had no chemistry at all, just like the Smallville version didn't.

I agree about Teri and Dean.

I haven't seen the new show, so I have no idea.

I've heard the show focuses more on their two sons.

It was the first episode, where Lois is reporting on the launch of a new spaceship which had a bomb put on it by one of the doctors who worked on the project.
