I felt bad for his parents when they had to say goodbye to him at the end of s3.
I mean they didn't know they'd see him again.

I agree, he was everything to them and it's probably something they knew they'd do one thing but never truly prepared for that.

I bet it would've been even harder if they had made this show where Jonathan died.
But having both his parents there is better. He gets so much support from them. And they do give him some good advice and try to help him in any way they can.

So happy Jonathan was alive since in the other versions he's usually dead when Clark becomes Superman.

The AU Clark didn’t marry Lana. He was engaged to her but never married her.
But yes that’s the Clark that grew up without his parents.

Oh, that's right. I forgot that he never married her. I didn't like what they did to Lana in that episode. She didn't deserve to be made into such a bitch.

Was that one of the HG Wells episodes where Lois was in AU?
