| OMG ELSA! That has got to be the best thing I've seen in ages! LMAO!!  Awesome. The way he sits straight up - hilarious! And regarding S.15, I agree with everyone's comments. It might take a miracle for Shane to come back as a regular, but if he did, TPTB could really (if they wanted) reward the loyal roomie fans by giving us that long-awaited real roomie storyline we've all wanted. I would love to watch a season of Ray and Neela working their way through their issues and back to each other (but no third-party love interests/flings -- no Katey or Gates. I wouldn't mind, though, if they *briefly* showed a character who was interested in Ray -- just so that we can see Neela get jealous and mark her territory  ).__________________ Ray to Neela: "Hey Roomie." 10/31/08  Don't look back / we're gonna make it through /can't stop this love. | Elsa really funny, though I couldnt see it all cause it takes ages to load. And about the 15th, even though a third wheel may work, I think the biggest issue for them is not that, I think the tptb may really work out the storyline of Rays disability, and for once, get back to real things, instead of that sopa opera ERs been turning to. | With regards to Season 15, there is another possible scenario of course - one that the roomie fan in me refused to even entertain, but the more I think about it the more I realise that it is a possibility. What if they do bring Ray back before the end of this this season (as they have hinted) but only for "closure" with Neela. To end things once and for all. That way next season will be a fresh start for her with nothing holding her back. See the thing is, if Shane doesn't return as a regular, I'm not sure how they actually can drag on the off screen "thing" (I was going to say romance, but it's not quite a romance yet is it?). This whole season's been neither here nor there for Neela, another whole season like that just doesn't make sense. Sorry... I'm just feeling a little discouraged all of a sudden. Need some good spoilers | |||

| Good work Elsa!!! My jaw dropped when I saw the card on Shane's myspace!!!! I'm pretty sure he likes it then, huh? I wrote my last message about a sad season 15 before seeing the card on Shane's page, and I must say I've perked up a lot since! Thanks Elsa!!! I have hope that he may return for Season 15 if he is asked.... Just hope TPTB want him back too. Also, there are tons of unanswered questions with regards to Ray's storyline, which would make for some pretty powerful TV. As for the other characters on ER, as things stand, I feel like there isn't much outstanding that would require a full season 15 to address. | |||

| We can get letters and phone calls, or we could get him on with recurring status, depending on what they can agree on in terms of contract. There are lots of possibilities. And I don't think they'd just end it knowing how popular it is with fans. Every time Mindi or one of the exec producers get interviewed, they get asked when he's coming back and what's going on with Ray and Neela. Also, according to Shane's interview in TV Guide at the end of S13, they wanted drama, but didn't want to kill Ray off. If they were going to bring him back just to end things once and for all, I think they would've just killed him off and not left it open for him to return. I also doubt they'd have removed both obstacles standing in the way of he and Neela actually having a real chance at a relationship - blame and guilt. I think there's still a chance, depending on what they manage to come up with, and Shane's schedule and willingness to return. I wouldn't lose heart yet. | Well done Elsa Looks like we're getting another season - a full 22 episodes of it - seriously wondering what this could mean for Neela and the roomie pairing! - heres hoping that the makers come to their senses and get SW back - now that would be awesome to watch! ETA - on the topic of 'recurring status' - is the actor whp plays Dubenko a recurring character? Because he's pretty much there all the time, if that were to be the case for SW then that would technically mean he might appear more than he did as a regular!!!... | Yes, Dubenko is a recurring character. Morris was recurring during Seasons 10 and 11, and all of the nursing staff and the desk staff are recurring as well, as they are not in the main credits. So there is a chance we could see a lot of him, even if he were to be recurring. As for the obstacles, I don't mean that there aren't any, just that Ray told her he doesn't blame her, which means there won't be the kind of bitterness that would be a huge stumbling block. Neela isn't feeling as guilty as I think she did back in THO, but I tend to think that she doesn't not blame herself as much as she'd have had Katey believe, either. If only because of her reaction when Abby made that comment about Ray wishing he'd never met her. It hit her like a gut punch. That wouldn't have happened if she were as okay with it as she wanted Katey to think, so there will still be some obstacles, but not so big that it would take more than a season to get through, which means there should be enough time for them to work through the issues, and still get the happy ending we all want. At least there would be if I were writing it. (And depending on how it actually plays out, I just may have to. My 'To Write' list keeps getting longer and longer, lol.
