Hi Ash, Deb, Laura, Elsa and all

I've been away a LOOOONG time.. am popping in to say hi and see how things are going.

I haven't been watching at all - busy with new baby (November)

I've been trying to catch up a bit on the season just to see what Roomie mentions there were... stopped off at Shane's page and saw the Save Reela holiday wishes (wish I hadn't missed that!) I posted some comments to Shane's pics last week and he already approved them all

(heeeeeee)

Updated my page to put Save Reela at the top

How is everyone? I haven't had time to keep up with fics, either - I just finished Path to Destiny last week!! I think Erin had out a fic too which I haven't read and I know there are others... I'm on maternity leave till April so hopefully I'll have a little time to check in now and then to catch up

Yes, Erin has a solo fic out. It's called 'Dirty Little Secrets' and there are 2 chapters out so far. You can find them both at LJ and ff.net. Looking forward to chatting with you about Roomies again.

I suppose it is true that if he accepts a lot of random comments from people, he wouldn't mind a little Valentine from the group there. I just tend to worry about people's personal space and privacy. But if the group wants to do it, count me in. Maybe he'll just think we're sweet. ^_^

And since the whole Neela/Ray CD was a Valentine's day thing, I suppose it wouldn't really be inappropriate...

That is what keeps me from posting comments on his myspace unless it is something with the Save Reela group. I think celebrities have the right to their privacy just as much as the rest of us do.

I have noticed that Shane seems to be more open to his fans than a lot of famous people.

If it were a whole ton of messages, then he might get annoyed. But one group message is probably fine. And there are a lot of comments from fans asking when he's coming to their town with The Germs or whatever, or just wishing him a Happy Holiday or Birthday, or Halloween, or whatever the holiday is. And I'm sure there will be a bunch for Valentine's Day from different people that already post there. Plus he's also approved friend requests from a few of the people that post here, in addition to "Save Reela". And his account's been hacked at least 2 or 3 times and he hasn't shut it down or switched it yet. So I think we're probably okay with a group message.

And yes, I think the CD cover should be on it, and probably the kiss, since it is Valentine's Day, and I can't think of any scene more romantic than that.

If you want to go for humorous, we could have the 'honey?' scene from "Photographs and Memories". That was too cute.

Funny you should say that. "The Way We Were" was originally the movie that the 12.16 sides had Ray watching when Neela got home from her Army spouses thing and caught him. I think switching it to "Ghost" made for great comedy, though.

Well roomies, ER might be back for a handful of episodes in April/May. I wonder if we will be lucky enough to get a glimpse of Ray. Hopefully, we can at least get a couple more mentions.

ETA: Count me in the Shane Valentine's Day mysapce campaign. Anything to see our dear Ray again.
