| With no end to the writer's strike in sight(apparently things have gotten much worse and both parties have stopped talks for now), do you guys think NBC will be tempted to give ER a 15th season(even if it's only half a season)? What effect do you think it will have on our roomies? Is it a good thing or bad thing for them? I guess it would all depend on Shane. | |||

| Total Fan   | Actors that are in the public eye are subject to scrutiny for the things they say and the way they handle themselves, so I think that calling them on it (within reason) is fair game, and not necessariy bashing. As far as a 15th season, I'm inclined to think that if there is one, it will be a shortened season, only consisting of the S14 episodes they have yet to write and film. As for what it means for Roomies, that's still very much up in the air and dependent in large part to Shane's schedule and whether he's available to come back at the time they would need him to (to shoot the episodes). The good news is that with the strike on, everything is affected, not just TV, so most actors aren't working very much right now because no one's revising any scripts or writing any new ones. | I agree with what has been said -- at least we know EVERYTHING is affected by the strike, not just our show. So a lot of fans of TV (and soon movies, I'd wager) are going to be bumming pretty soon, if not already. I just hope they can end the show with dignity and manage to tie up the storylines in a nice way (and have a happy reunion for Ray and Neela, if nothing else). __________________ my favorite dreams of you still wash ashore scraping through my head 'til i don't want to sleep anymore SLA? But it's really going to rest on Shane. So maybe as part of the "Save Reela" thing, we should be sending him myspace messages or something to let him know how much we want to see him back if the opportunity arises? Not bombard him, obviously, cause that will get annoying real fast, but just let him know that he still has fans who want to see him return, not only to give the Roomies a good ending, but also because we want to see Ray's recovery and we know he'll do it justice.
