And then you have another WB commercial, this time it contains images from a lots of different seasons, but the end is obviously focused on the 14th season. YouTube - ER Best Promo Season 14 - All seasons And is way too funny that they included more of the Roomies/Ray storyline in this one, when he doesnt even appear on the 14th! It seems like they are really leting their story open, but when he was actually there, he wasnt part of the promotion. | Is everyone suppose to happily board the Sam/Gates ship? I think I may jump overboard, stuff waiting for the lifeboat! I cannot believe they dismantled the Roomies & left Luby stranded for this 'New premiere couple of ER'. And i was just starting to like Sam, saw some potential for growth & all! Pls Sammy you want that loser to become a role model for your impressionable teenage son who had a lousy biological Daddy! From Luka to Gates, talk about a downgrade! Like Neela's downgrade to Gates...that is when you realise you are at your lowest ebb...when you find Gates remotely attractive...Meg went there, so did Neela, now poor Sammy as if she hasn't suffered enough...pls ER bring back some believable, spine-tingling romance. Neela is certainly lost, she seems all happy now with the comic relief storylines but i am waiting for some realness in her role as a surgeon (esp with this new Ortho rotation). | lol Ash, I know, but I just cant, a FF wont do it for me, is just that we deserve so much more after all... I think that the whole S/G thing is hilarious. First cause with Vero -I think shes here, but on vacations now- we always joked when all the Neela and Gates story was developing during the 13 season that Gates should get out of the way and go with Sam or die but get away from Neela, so she can finally be with Ray! So, its really like, ok authors you make that riddiculous rant true but Neela and Ray are not together? And besides why everyone has to be with everyone? And why would Sam be with him? I mean, is Gates... | I actually like Sam, and I wouldn't wish Gates on her. Ugh. I wish they'd kept Jake around and put her with him back in S12. That would've worked for me. Gates is just so disgusting and such a gag-worthy character that I just wish they'd throw him under a truck.  And I know fanfic's not the same as seeing it, and we really do deserve more for all the torture we've put up with, but I'm not sure I trust them to finish it to my satisfaction. | I realised how negative my last post was so on a lighter note...I too appreciated the cute lil' 'sox & hoppin outta bed' mirror image scene...aahh...if only it were a sign... On a sidenote i believe the reason (well my reason) for not embracing the character of Bret was coz most of us roomie fans felt he was like encroaching on Ray's girl when he was not home (eventhough Ray was kinda endorsing him @ the beginning) but we all know that the Roomies were in denial & all. | I like the idea of Sam with the Gates, and I think it is only temporary as they try new strategies to tie up the lose ends of other relationships. Such as perhaps the roomies. | When I watched season 13, I wanted Gates to go with Sammie instead of Neela, as a sacrifice. Now that it's after the fact, he's not allowed to have them both! Just when you think he's become an iota less annoying, he jumps right back in there to remind you why you hate him. I'm sick of the whole "getting into scuffles to save my woman" shtick. And with this being then end (for now?) we still don't know if the strike is going to help or hurt the chances of a roomies resolution. I want to believe it will give them time to hopefully decide to go there since it's clear Neela's been sent to writer's limbo. It's almost like they're waiting to have something happen to her, they just don't know if it will be Ray, or not. I'll keep my fingers crossed, for once I wanna see a couple I like get together on the screen. I don't like fanfics, I've yet to read one that keeps them in character the whole time so for me I guess I'm coming from the "Show me" state on that one. And yes, I realize I'm being hypocritical since I've written roomie fics too. Oh and about those Latin ER commercials, that just goes to show you that everyone likes to be a tease. Kinda the same way the writers have teased us so far with the little mentions of Ray now and again. | |||

| I don't mind Gates and Sam. Anything is better for her than Steve. Besides, with Gates out of the way, he can't go back to Neela. Hopefully EVER. I dunno why, I just kinda like that whole dynamic between them, even though I hate Gates. I do like Sam, though. Something about them together just seems sweet... probably because they worked on building up a rapport first instead of just throwing them together willy-nilly with no warning (which is always unrealistic and dissapointing). Neela let Ray off the hook pretty much the same way last season when he had a go @ her professionalism. I love how Neela sought Abby out after the awkwardness of their first encounter when Abby returned.
