I KNOW, that was so rewarding after all the pain they (and we) went through :sigh: :in_love:

You didn't like season 15? :(

theirishpanda 02-21-2014 02:23 PM

I love that even as much as Neela annoyed me at times, as a Ray fan, that the fact she gave up a better job and relocated for Ray - she truly did love him. Was sooo sweet.

It was such a perfect time for them.

Season 14 and 15 annoyed me with some decisions for the characters. I stopped in the middle of the 15th. Someone told me that the other half was much better tho.

Neela annoyed me so much, God. She became a person I didn't reconize, especially in s15. She was one of that reasons, yk? And that's why I loved the episode she went after Ray, like fixing some of that mistakes, at least for me. And, like was said, showing how much she loved him.

I loved in the end it showed how much Neela really did love Ray, I just think that probably in Season 11 and 12 the timing was wrong because of everything that happened with Gallant.

theirishpanda 03-03-2014 12:06 PM

I wish they hadn't brought Gallant back - I think if he hadn't been in it, then the Reela story could have been so much different - and to bring a character back just to kill them always seems pointless to me.

It did seem odd to bring back Gallant and have them get married, given that we all knew it could only ever be a short-term stint.

eternalfate 03-04-2014 10:37 PM

I see where you two are coming from, the writers should've just spent more time building Ray & Neela romance outside of Gallant, it would've been so much better. It was really no need for him to return... although I did like Gallant as a character, just didn't care for him with Neela much.

It would've just been nice to see more of the Ray & Neela story. Less of the angst.

I'm Not Dead 03-05-2014 02:41 AM

Same. I liked Gallant a lot, but that whole storyline just came off as one big delaying tactic.

theirishpanda 03-05-2014 12:19 PM

I agree - I think he and Neela were O.K as friends, but he basically forced her into marrying him by guilt tripping her IMO

Aurora Cormier 03-05-2014 02:20 PM

I never cared for Neela/Gallant either

theirishpanda 03-06-2014 10:52 AM

If you could have saw one "missing scene" from one of the episodes - what would you have wanted it to be?

I think I would have liked to see Ray and Neela on a night in watching the horror movies.

I'm Not Dead 03-06-2014 02:08 PM

Definitely from when they were living together. I'm sure they had a few nights where they both got off work and had a few drinks at home. Fun, everyday stuff like that would have been nice to see.

Aurora Cormier 03-06-2014 07:31 PM

I know, these are my favorite things that are neglected in fiction 99% of the time, that time when you get home and talk about how your day was and stuff :sigh:

theirishpanda 03-07-2014 12:04 PM

I have like, the fanfic bug again and I just want to write something like this haha  I love angst, but I think sometimes reading fanfic about their lives living together maybe even before they were having feelings for each other are always so fun to read.

GAH - can't believe how much of an OTP these two still are after all these years.

Aurora Cormier 03-07-2014 03:53 PM

Aw are you a fanfic writer?? I'd love to read it!
