Hopefully it works. Goldderby.com gave her pretty good odds for a nomination. But this is the same group who gave her 100/1 odds for a GG nod and who has the Golden Globe?

I am resigning myself to disappointment since Ruth won the GG last year and failed to make the Emmy cut (as did the show in general.) It is hurt by airing so early in the season; I mean, it has been off the voters' screens for 6 months.

I think that's the biggest problem, the voters attention spans are short. It was the same issue with her last appearance on "Rescue Me". That was a year apart.
