Least Favorite Character in ER?
What is your least favorite character in ER? Why?
You may discuss your favorite character here.  Please do not bash the actual actors of the characters! * * * My least favorite character would have to be Sam. There is something about her that irks me. And she always seems to be having a bad day, or complaining about something.  A close tie is Morris!So, what's yours? |

I never liked Gates. The character often came across as very lazy and it was like the writers created a cheap imitation of Doug Ross.
Cynthia the desk clerk/Mark's girlfriend in Season 4 annoyed the hell out of me. She was always crying and having an emotional breakdown of some sort. She took up too much screen-time for a guest star. Div Cvetic was a pain. I know he was suffering from depression, but the way he treated Susan was so hard to watch. Plus he yelled at Malik. Not cool! I couldn't stand Shep. He just seemed to be a narrative ploy to keep Doug and Carol apart for another season. In the process it gave Carol so many boring storylines in Season 2. There were a lot more characters who I didn't care for, but that's all I can think of as far as disliking anyone. |

Ahh, Gates... I agree with you Stephen and Elena, cheap imitation of Ross.
You dislike a lot of people, Stephen.  What do you all think of Timmy Rawlins in Season 1? I found him pretty annoying.  |

It's the curse of a 15 year run - so many chances to hate a character.
Timmy was annoying. They brought him back in Season 13 or Season 14 for some reason. God knows why! |

Ugh! I wanted him to go away in the first episode.
I like Frank and Jerry better.  Did anyone dislike a main character (Hathway, Ross, Greene, Lockhart, Kovac, Lewis?) |

There were some like Cleo and Malucci who I never cared about, but I didn't dislike them.

Well, Dubenko's my favouorite character of all time so you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that my least favourite is...
Skye Wexler. I don't just hate her because she broke Lucien's heart and messed with his head, I hate her because she treated her profession as a part time job too  __________________

I didn't like much about anything in Season 14.
Jeanie's return was great, and the Abby/Luka stuff was well-acted, but it was a very dark, slow season. |

Half of season 14's a write-off as far as I'm concerned.

Also, the writers went into it thinking it would be the last season, but right in the middle they got picked up for another season. So you could tell they were trying to buy time and bluff their way until the next season when they could plan all the big storylines.
