I was thinking the other day about how Jeanie described Al Boulet's death. As awful as it sounded, part of me wishes that had been the story we saw when Gloria returned to ER. To actually show a character we knew (okay not a regular, but still a known character) succumbing to AIDS could have been really powerful and I think Gloria would have played the hell out of it.

thanks! and I've seen bits and pieces of it..I've heard it's a very sad episode though. I haven't really watched season 14 much at all..I mean that season is like all Abby and I'm not fond of her character at all.

I was sad too, but it was nice to see the actor reprise his role for the episode.
