Mark: (on the phone) I'm trying to find out how to get my Dad into a V.A. cemetery... (to Carol) transferring me to yet *another* department.
Carol: Didn't he want to be buried next to your mother in San Diego?
Mark: I don't know what he wanted. He said he didn't want to be any trouble. Suggested I put him out with the trash.
Carol: Oh, that was helpful.

I love this thread, I absolutely adore Mark and Carol's friendship. I watched the episode where Carol gave birth to the twins today and it's so sweet when she names Kate after his mother. He was really there for her when Doug left

I love them too, and the reason you mentioned is just one of my favourite moments. It was so sweet of Carol to do that considering his mother had died so recently.
