I'm downloading clips from 21 Guns now. It sounds way intense, but good.

Don't even mention The O.C finale. I am so ****ing depressed. They killed Marissa!!

Why do all my favourite female charcters have to die? it's not fair

Some friends of mine were complaining about the OC finale last night. Sorry to hear what happened - I don't watch the show, but I certainly know who the characters are, and I can't say I understand the logic in killing off one of the most popular people.

I was so excited about the CSI finale last night. The episode itself wasn't too great (the cases were really...dumb, for lack of a better word) but there were some great comedic moments in there. The highlight, though, was the last 57 seconds of the episode, in which we saw Grissom talking about how he'd like to know he's going to die so he could have the chance to do things like visit the Amazon again, re-read his favorite books, enter a chess tournament, and especially say goodbye to the people he loves. Then the camera panned up and we saw Sara walking out of the bathroom in nothing but a bathrobe, kneeling down next to the bed, and saying, "I'm not ready to say goodbye yet."

My CSI ship is finally, undisputably, canon!!!

Sorry, a bit excited about that one...

Marissa was actually disliked by a lot of viewers. But a fair amount of people loved her too. Without Mischa Barton that show will tank big time and i will sit back and laugh. Josh Schwartz has just made the biggest mistake of his life.

It's one of the best feelings in the world! I bet you can't wait for next season!

Yeah, I'm a bit anxious lol. The thing with Grissom/Sara is that it was always implied that 'something' was going on between the two, and the actors and TPTB had said they'd "eventually" go that direction. After six years of waiting, you start to wonder. But it happened last night!

Did anyone else catch the W&G finale? I got to see like the last 30 mins of it. I loved how their kids grew up and got married. It was such a neat way to end it

I hope it rains tomorrow. I'm supposed to be working at a carwash and I really don't want to go *sigh*

"Canon" refers to something being law or set in stone; for example, the Catholic Church's teachings are referred to by Catholics as "canon law". If something is considered "canon" in fandom, it means that it's actually happened. Most recently, the Ray-Neela dynamic was something that fans speculated about until Ray admitted his feelings on the show; it then became "canon".

I didn't catch the W&G finale (same time as CSI) but I heard how it ended - I'm glad things went that way. That's one show I'm sorry to see go, but it was the right time to bow out.

I agree. It had a good run after all and better to end ahead than keep running til you're dry.

Hey anonymous, I watched the CSI finale and totally screamed when Sara knelt down so we could see her face--I was all OMFG WOOT and my husband went "bzuh?!" Awesome stuff right there.

Heh. Being part of the Harry Potter fandom has made me sick of the word "canon"

The H/G shippers are always flinging how they're canon and we're not in to our faces. Gets a little bloody tiresome.
