I didn't know Elizabeth's story until Julianna & Gloria participated at that event. It is incredible what she achieved through such a tragic turn in her life.

I didn't know about it until about 10 minutes ago when I watched the videos, and that horrifies me! Just been googling her and on the foundation's website. I'm so glad her son is still living. What a remarkable woman.

Yeah, it is wonderful about her son. I have ordered her book (from which Julianna, Gloria, and Mary were reading.)

It is terrible that she cannot be here to see the work her foundation has done since her death, but man oh man does it prove that her life changed things.

I love Khandi ! and that scream to this day still gets to me every time...and BTW it's from season 7's The Visit That whole scene is just exactly how you said it one of the best..if not these best..it's just horrible to watch really.

I loved her on Newsradio as well, I maybe in the minority, but I loved her on CSI too even though she was too talented for it I was just so happy to see her more in something.

ugh there was nothing that needed to be said in that scene and I'm so glad there was no music with it either..I can't even explain it..seeing it in that gif isn't the same as hearing it because hearing it for me is/was worse. There are just some scenes on ER that don't need explanations and that was one of them even now. That scene just breaks me up. There's nothing worse than loosing your child and I felt that with that scene.

I like that she started screaming even before we saw her in the frame. And that Peter didn't even say anything.
One of the best scenes of entire show.

Yes that too! I actually start tearing up when Peter starts crying in the trauma room and then it just goes on from there for me. That's a scream I've never ever heard before on a show from a mother whose lost a child, it just gets to you.

I know I posted several months ago that AE, NW, ELS, and GR were going to be featured in a doctors and nurses episode of 'Pioneers in Television' on PBS.

Well, according to TV Guide, that episode will be airing on PBS on April 22nd. Check local listings.

I will be out of town at that time, so I hope I can watch it somewhere else later.
