Definitely giving the edge to Zac in the luck department. Maura's kind of out of his league.

I always forget that Jared Padalecki from Gilmore Girls and Supernatural was in an episode. I think Jim Belushi played his father(?)

Also, the man in my icon - Mr. Ed Asner - played the man Carter befriended in Season 9 and gave money to for his clinic.

Plus Zac was scrawny at the time, he has surely turned into a man now. Right on Stephen, Belushi was the father of Jared's character in that episode.

Earlier I was watching The Client, one of my favourite 90s films. I had never paid attention to how many of the cast appeared in ER:

- Anthony Edwards
- Susan Sarandon
- Bradley Whitford
- William H. Macy
- Ron Dean
- Kimberly Scott
- Walter Olkewicz

Got me to thinking: I would love to know which film features the most number of cast members who appeared in ER at one time or another.

Can they just change the title of the show to "ER: Courtroom Edition" already?

That'll be its title in syndication.

ER's Carlos Gomez - Street Savvy Savior - SciFiAndTvTalk - Good interview with the guy who played Raul. He talks about working on the show and mentions a Clooney prank. Worth a read.

Bradley Whitford: Trophy Wife’s Pete Harrison — Memories From the Set - TVLine

Quote:
"Love's Labor Lost" was one of the most harrowing episodes of the NBC medical drama's entire 15-season run, and Whitford was part of it, playing the husband of a first-time mother who dies while giving birth on Mark Greene's watch. Executive producer Steven Spielberg was on set during shooting -- "How am I supposed to act in front of Steven Spielberg?!" Whitford cries – and the whole endeavor "was really an emotional thing," he says. "The end of that, where they cut out the sound, where Tony Edwards is coming to tell me that my wife has died and I'm holding the baby, it's one of the smartest editing things I've ever seen… We shot a lot of up-close stuff, me falling and stuff, [but] it's just so much more effective when it's silent." A lot of expectant women apparently felt the same way, according to Whitford's sister, who worked at a birthing center at the time. "She said that that episode traumatized a generation of mothers."
