So, the idea of this thread came from Tumblr and its many "Confessions" pages for different tv shows. I never saw one for ER, so I thought it would be fun to have a thread for that here, where we can say how we truly felt about some things on the show and even on our board here. Anything, really. We won't judge. Much. Yeah right

No, seriously, there can always be replies to the confessions, and discussions are always welcome here. Just remember the #1 rule, no bashing of each other, ever



In the past, before I joined this board as a regular poster, before I became mod, and before I started watching all seasons in the right order, the later ones, I used to use ER as an example of why a show shouldn't last so long. Now I use it as an example of one of the very few who could do that beautifully and in a way that made sense.

This is kinda, sorta like yours Ju. Back in high school when I was really obsessed with Grey's Anatomy and I would go on the ABC message boards and I would see people saying ER was better written than Grey's and it would annoy me and I would defend Grey's like crazy and like you said, I would say that the show has lasted way too long. This was before I even saw an episode of ER though. I was so wrong, so very wrong.
Does this count as a confession? I can't think of anything else atm.

I only just now (after reading Stephen's post) realized that Ron Eldard was the same guy who played Maura's lover on 'Diggers'. I had been thinking for ages that he looked so familiar but never would have thought it was from ER.

My first confession: I hated ER in the first place. Yes, I did. There were a bunch of TV shows on our channel (I was 10 or 11 back then), they were shown like this: Full House, ER, Baywatch...I watched Full House then I went outside because, yikes, ER and then I got back in to watch Baywatch How stupid! And then...I don't know why, I started to watch ER...maybe it was raining outside or so but hey, I liked it
