I had a fun Halloween. I dressed up as Marty McFly from Back to the Future - which you all should know by now is my favourite movie. To make it more 'Halloweeny' I put on zombie-face. The concept was: Marty time-travelled into a Zombies Vs. Minecraft apocalypse (hence the sunglasses. ) My cousin threw a great party at her house - I'll post some photos on the Fan Pictures thread.

I had a weird night out with friends. Mateus and I had made plans with this other couple, then at the last minute, another friend of ours texted me to say she was going to the same place with some friends (who are also our friends). The thing is, she had told me they were going today, not yesterday, that's why we had made plans with these friends on Friday instead of Sunday. That way we could go out with everybody without mixing the two groups (cause they didn't know each other). Anyway, I thought it would be weird to have them sitting at the table right next to ours and not talk, so I said why don't we put our tables together. So we did. But then there were 8 people and I felt I didn't really talk to anyone properly. It would've been better if I had switched seats with Mateus to be more in the middle, but I thought the friend who was in front of me would feel like I didn't wanna talk to her, so I staye din my seat.

Anyway, did you understand anything I just said? I just thought it was weird, and kinda boring, not being able to really talk to everyone and kinda just talking to half of the group. Like I tried to bring everyone together but it didn't work, you know.

Hi all! *yawns* I got back from Vegas on Tuesday after about 95 hours of flying and airports (ish) but I've been avoiding the Internet because I liked the relaxing feeling of avoiding it.

I took some videos and pictures while I was there to show you guys, as a little virtual Vegas trip, and I'll stick them in the fan pics thread.

Ju, I understand. Kind of. I don't have a whole lot of friends so when I have a group of them together, they rarely know one another. The good thing is that being friends with me requires a certain type of weird person, so they usually get along. I only have a few friends who don't get along, but they rarely cross paths, and when they do, they can behave. I find that wine and board games always helps with that.

Ju - Yeah, I have felt like that when I am with large groups, specifically when it's a mix of multiple sets of friends. Even at family dinners (I'm Irish Catholic, so there's 67484270483048 of us) the seating arrangement can get a bit 'political,' 'for lack of a better word.

Guys, I forgot to tell the happiest news - I'm gonna be an aunt AGAIN, for the third time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GUYS!!! Hi!! Oh man, how long has it been? It feels like forever. I missed you so much.

Ju asked me if I wanted to take part in the Christmas card exchange and I really do! And that made me realize how much I've missed you. Wow. How is everybody? I have so much catching up to do here and with you guys.

I'll tell how I'm doing in a few words. I spent last year studying music at a folk high school (or I'm not sure what's it called in English). It was probably the best year of my life so far. But it was also the busiest! That's perhaps why I kind of quit posting here... Sorry about that! Those of you who are on FB know that I've also started dating (yay! ). He's name is Kari and I met him at the school last year, he was on my class. We've dated for a year now! I've also become an aunt for two new little babies. Both of my sisters had babies this fall, other one in August (a boy!) and the other just a couple of days ago (a girl!). I'm the godmother for the latter.

I'm back studying Finnish language and literature in the University now. I'm pretty happy about it, I've actually found some motivation to study this year! My speciality is onomastics.

So, I'm doing well! I'll try to start posting regularly and catch up a little. Tell me, how are you guys?
