 Though I do remember now some Carter/Susan fan speculating that in her head, C/S had been together in secret all along, which was why Susan left in the episode right after Carter.  |

^Yeah, it's hard to say. They were cute together, but I'm not sure if it would've been right. It's a weird thought, they getting married, having kids etc.
 Although Kem for Carter and Chuck for Susan, those weren't right either in my opinion... |

I don't think they would have lasted longer, honestly. I saw chemistry in Season 1, but never again after they settled into being friends. The moment passed and never came back around again for me.

It's funny because they had chemistry in season 1 and even in the finale.... But not when they were actually together lol

It is interesting that both Carter/Susan and Peter/Elizabeth had some chemistry again in the series finale. The passage of time works wonders.
