Gah, I absolutely loved the Carter/Lucy "relationship". Loved them as friends, but always wanted more to happen between them. It was so sad when she died and how it affected Carter.

I'm hoping since Carter is needing the transplant because of the stabbing incident, maybe he'll mention Lucy. She needs to be mentioned!

He already did. He didn't mention her name but he did tell Banfield about what happened. It was quite moving.

I miss Lucy

I miss her too.

When I realized that the attack on them is what is setting in motion all that Carter is going through so many years later, I got so nostalgic, and I applaud TPTB for showing that after all these years something like that can still affect you.

And I got a little pleasure in the fact that Carter returned to the ER on valentine's day, especially since that's when the attack took place... it's totally inappropriate considering but I can't help myself sometimes....

I adored Carter and Lucy together. I was so disappointed they never got to be a couple but I still enjoyed them. And I haven't been able to watch the ep where Lucy dies since it aired. I watched it that one time and that was it. Too sad.

They were one of the reasons I stopped watching ER.

Had they not killed her off I probably would have watched the last several years.

They were my OTC for this show.

I couldn't believe it when she died. I was so mad.

I just watched the episode where Lucy dies, it's so sad

it was actually the first time i've seen the whole entire episode.

Really? This episode has haunted me ever since. I was left heartbroken but damn, what an amazing episode. I watched it again before the series finale. I know it by heart yet it still moves me to tears.

I know it's been a while since anyone has posted on this thread, but i specifically went through the pages on this board to find a Carter/Lucy thread. I found it! Just wanted to say, they were the best! I wish they hadn't've killed lucy off!

I believe she was on grey's anatomy playing a different character a while ago too, which is odd since pp is a spin-off lol

but anyways it's always weird seeing her on other shows, all I can think about is Lucy

Yeah it seems like she was on Grey's too. So long as the episodes don't over lap, they can get away with using the same guest stars for different characters.

Yeah, it happens that way sometimes. I've always liked her, even back when she was on "Life Goes On", so it's nice to see her still working.

I never saw LGO but I do enjoy seeing her pop up guest starring. It'd be nice to see her as a show regular somewhere again.
