I really love these guys together, and I honestly believe that if Kellie Martin decided to stay on the show, and when Lucy would be an intern that they would be together.

Possibly. I know Noah was against Carter dating Lucy cause she was a med student and it was against the rules. I don't know how he would have felt if she had been an intern.

Great vid, but so so sad. I'm not there yet in seasons but I loved Lucy in S5. She was a bit annoying at first, but I grew to love her before it was over. She had spunk.

Carter&Lucy - No More Good Guys. It's really about Carter's problems in the aftermath of the stabbing and dealing with Lucy's loss. Remember, it was made a long time ago, so don't be too hard lol I still love it though...

I used to love Carter and Lucy and I wanted to comment on the icons, they are amazing. Next to Be Still My Heart and All In The Family, The Good Fight was one of my favorite episodes with Carter and Lucy. You could see how they went from being very combative with each other to becoming more understanding of each other. I cry everytime I watch the end of All In The Family, especially the part where Carter realized that Lucy was dead. Even though she wasn't mentioned much after the sixth season, you could tell by Noah Wyle's performance that her death still haunted him. I could definitely see it in the season 8 episode where Carter realized that the man who stabbed him and killed Lucy was a free man and season 9 episode Insurrection where Carter staged a walkout after a drug seeking patient held a gun on Abby and Chen, the woman he loved and one of his closest friends. When he was talking to Susan about why he staged the walkout, he mentioned Lucy's death and him being stabbed right along with what happened to Abby and Chen. I am one of the people who think that if Kellie Martin would have stayed on the show, something would have happened between Carter and Lucy.

Wow. I just discovered the Carcy thread over at the couples board and just got lost here to the ER board. I'm glad there's a Lucy/Carter thread now. I loved them and wanted them together.

I guess we all agree that it was a sad day when Lucy died.
