I honestly wouldn't have minded if they went romantic for a bit as I did ship them. But I'm also ok with how it turned out. I ship HE more and I like that these two were able to develop and grow and become great parents together.

I feel like these two worked better as staying just a ONS. Plus Klaus had love interests with every other woman basically. I like that Hayley was different for him.

Yeah I think it was clear that they didn't feel anything romantic for each other, they were bound together by Hope and loyal to each other because they were family, but I think if Hayley never got pregnant, Klaus wouldn't have looked twice at her and vice-versa.

That's true but to be fair if Hayley hadn't been pregnant Elijah wouldn't have looked/known her either though.
Though to be fair again if they still had Hayley around without the pregnancy storyline and HE ran into each other I could see both of them liking the other and wanting to be in a relationship eventually. |

It was definitely a different storyline. Normally on a show these two would get together in the end. Glad to see they became a different kind of family.

I think they would have too.
The whole point I was trying to make was Jenny said if it wasn't for the pregnancy Klaus wouldn't have looked twice and probably true but if she hadn't been pregnant there is a chance her and Elijah wouldn't have met either. Hayley might not have even been on the show as I remember (though I could be wrong) that the reason they wanted Hayley on TO was because they wanted her pregnant so Klaus could have that storyline. But I do agree and if Hayley was on the show and not pregnant and her and Elijah ran into each other I could see them still going for each other. |

Yeah, that sounds about right. In the beginning, Hayley was only on TO to be Klaus's baby momma. But thankfully that changed into what it was.
