Does anybody know the reason why he wasn't in Speed 2? I don't think I ever really looked into it or not. If I did I don't remember regardless.

He didn't like the script and because of the decision of not starring in the sequel, Fox sort of blacklisted him for 11 years

Interesting article about FOX putting him in "movie jail" for 11 years for turning down Speed 2 don't even think if Keanu did it it would still have been a flop probably

I've only seen it the once even if it's got Sandra and William Defoe got no desire to watch it again even if don't remember that much

I watched Speed for the first time last month. It was a great movie Loved Sandra's and Keanu's chemistry

^Oh Tina, glad you enjoyed it It's such a great movie, even if it's an oldie. Probably my favorite one out of all Keanu movies

And the chemistry there between the two of them was just incredible
