Thor in Endgame was so sad to watch. It had a bit of comic moments, but it really makes me sad how much he blamed himself for everything. And I can't help but also be bitter about it because if he was in a good place emotionally, maybe things would have been different, because he would have been able to hold the power of the stones better than Bruce (and Tony ).

Having Thor let himself go was a good idea. I was SHOCKED by that when I first saw Endgame but quickly realized how realistic it was. Thor did lose A LOT in his life. He lost his father, mother, brother, Asgard, then felt guilty over taking his time to kill Thanos and he snapped right in front of him. It's easy to see why he was depressed and guilt ridden. It also broke my heart when he really wanted to do the snap to bring everyone back so he can just do SOMETHING. I hope he's back to the Thor we know in Thor 4.

He could've saved Tony. Do you think he'll blame himself for that as well? He did mention that he could do it, but Tony telling him he wasn't in the right state. Damn, I hadn't thought of that.

So many emotional trauma for the characters that remain.

Even tho I don't understand why anyone else can do it, not Tony.. But again, I have no comment when it comes to the writers who did the worst on each characters in Endgame..

Oh yeah, it's a big source of frustration, I try to avoid it now.

I could be wrong but I think Bruce only pulled it off because of Hulk and the gamma radiation, and Thor/Captain Marvel would have been able to do it too because they were not ~humans. And then the Guardians pulled it off too but it was just one stone and they did it together. So I get why Tony wasn't able to do it. But they could have done a group thing like they did with Guardians, sigh, there were so many other ways to do it.

I did see an interview with the Russos brothers where they say that they wanted it to be Tony, and that their first step would be tell Robert about it to see if he agreed, and if Robert was against it, they would try to convince him lmao. But I love how it's implied that Robert would have the veto power if he wanted to, I love how much power this man has.
