I had been hoping Finnish tv would show the series again (like they show some crap again, so why don't they show a good one for a change?) but no luck

This series seems to have disappeared into the "black hole of the TV universe."

It's not available on DVD, it's never in re-runs.

What's a NICK-fan to do?

NICK in the news (sort-of)

This thread doesn't see much action these days -- there doesn't seem to be much interest in Team Knight Rider (TKR)-- NICK's first series.

I was surprised when my 'bot brought-up a new reference to it. The show was featured in an extensive write-up on a site called America's News Today in their "Retro Channel": HERE

There are a few promos on youtube and I did see a poster say they had all the episodes on DVD but I don't know... you can't really trust random posters.

I had a surprise this morning! !

My 'bot which constantly scans the 'net for any reference to NICK, but usually only produces stuff about Nick (Norman) Wechsler - the producer, or points me to Nick Wechsler Online, took me to a forum with which I was totally unfamiliar.

On this forum, someone has uploaded every one of the episodes of Team Knight Rider, Nick's first TV series. Nick must have only been 18 or 19 when this was filmed.

I never watched the series when it aired on commercial TV, it has not appeared in re-runs that I could find, and I have searched the 'net in vain looking for tapes or DVDs. I have heard rumors that they exist, but I'll be darned if I can locate them.

Screencaps of Nick from TKR are few, so I have created a few which can be seen here: Screencaps of TKR. The files on this site are (I think) Flash Video format from 'hulu' and I have not yet figured out how to download the video, so making screencaps is exceptionally difficult. That's why I only made a few. When I figure out how to download the videos, I'll make some more.

I'm very excited to finally get to see some of these shows and witness the young Nick, just starting-out on TV. Check 'em out!
