Nick was cooking a paella for a party with some of his friends when the old stove broke. Yelling didn't fix anything because he still had a meal to prepare and he only had one hotplate to cook the paella on. The only person who Nick could ask for help is not answering the phone. Frustrated, he thought about perhaps canceling the party but then he realized that would not solve the dilemma that presented before him and decided he would try a different route.

Concentrating on doing the cooking he decided to ask a person who had experience with this type of disaster that was certainly not what he planned to host when friends arrive. It drove him mad, worrying about cooking when there was lots of things to prepare for his party and his friends. It was lucky that Nick was clever, therefore, he was able to devise a suitable-to-eat concoction. Soon there would be people arriving and he would so prefer to be not in this predicament but it was inevitable that somehow someone would not know how to get to the party and Nick would not be able to tell his friends about the problems he'd encountered all day.

Shortly after, the doorbell rang and Nick answered it. He was happy to have some familiar faces around. With a smile, Nick proceeded towards the crowd hoping to fake a nonchalant and insouciant image. The party was not yet in full swing and already there were behind-the-scenes makeout rendezvouses and plenty of wild stunts taking place in front of the guests. Nick felt the affair was getting out of control completely.
