If it's meant to be... They won't be filming much longer, so I'm more doubtful now. I think if I'd never had seen him I'd have tried harder, but I have so, I haven't, ya know? Working nights put a damper in searching.

Oh wow. It sounds like this will be a good showcase for Nick. I actually think Brandon Routh is a not so great actor. But he is famous and the movie will get some attention.

And I was being diplomatic about Brandon Routh's "abilities".

It annoys me that actors as great as Nick need to fight tooth and nail for any part, while Routh gets stuff handed to him now. But that's life I guess, and showbiz.

I'm sure the producers were like "We need someone really good to support this guy. How about that Nick Wechsler?"

I hope Nick gets enough face-time on the screen to get the kind of notice he deserves.

Real life lovebirds Brandon Routh ("Superman Returns") and Courtney Ford, who announced in August 2006 that they will tie the knot, may have picked up a few ideas for their own impending nuptials when a wedding scene for "Lie To Me," the upcoming dramedy in which both will star, was recently filmed at The Elms Resort and Spa. The pride of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, the limestone-constructed landmark's guests have run the gamut over the years, ranging from the illustrious, such as Presidents Harry S. Truman and Franklin D. Roosevelt, to the infamous, which was the case when "Pretty Boy" Floyd and Al Capone frequented the retreat during the Prohibition era.
