i don't get that, if we had seen the buildup & waited for them to get together it might have been more interesting, but i don't think they had chemistry anyway

The writers seem to have had a habit of skipping-over the summers in ROSWELL -- at least when it suited their purposes. IIRC Jessie and Isabel were supposed to have met at a picnic in the summer, which we never saw. Of course, we never saw that whole summer when Liz was supposedly not speaking to Max either...

Anyway -- I liked Jesse better than Grant...

i really did not like grant! &i didn't get how she cared about him so much when she barely knew him, & she wouldn't listen to anyone when they were telling her to stay away! *rant over*

kyle was clearly the best choice for her

Well... many of us think he would have been very jealous...

But... I don't think Max thought that ANYBODY was good enough for his big sis, so I don't think he would have been very happy about it. Still -- Kyle was in on the big secret, so he would have been glad that Izzy fell for someone they didn't have to worry about for that reason. I think, eventually, he would have gotten used to it.

I think Max would have been more accepting of Kyle rather than Jesse. By season 3 he was well into the I-know-an-alien group and has proved himself to be loyal, even if he did disagree with Max

Actually -- I think you're right about Max being more accepting of Kyle -- He was OK with Kyle and Izzy being chummy (remember all the practical jokes? Max had to know they were doing them together.) But I still don't think he would like the idea of Kyle and Izzy being romantically involved. He might accept it but he wouldn't like it.
