Halloween parties were never Nick's favorite kind of thing, but he had no excuse to decline this invitation and disappoint the kiddies who were expecting him to appear in costume. So far, everything appeared normal and Nick was preparing to drive back to his home and to make supper for himself. He was not expecting any trick-or-treaters to knock on his door, so he tried to find something to give them.
