I was also kinda hoping maybe they'd do an AU episode where Ryan raised Nancy ala Gilmore Girls. He cut himself off from his family and is a single dad.

I could see Carson still being a lawyer, but maybe he'd be a silent partner. I could see Ryan owning it. Nancy would work there with her dad. George probably would still work there. Definitely Ace too. Maybe Bess? IDK. Nick probably wouldn't even be in Maine because Tiffany Hudson probably would have never witnessed what happened.

It would definitely change things a lot if Ryan had raised Nancy on his own and it could be something cool for the show to explore. Ryan and Carson could be friends and Ryan would have a relationship with Nancy. I think Ace, George, Bess, and Nancy would still end up at the Claw and end up being friends though!

I wonder if Ryan and Tiffany would even be married? It kind of seems like the Hudsons wanted him to marry someone also from a wealthy family so he kind of had to marry Tiffany, but they were never super happy. If he had cut off his family maybe that wouldn't even happen? Which would mean Nick probably wouldn't end up in Maine and they Drew Crew wouldn't really be together.

Yeah, Ryan said the marriage was a business arrangement. So if he completely cut off his family, he never would have married Tiffany...meaning she never would have died. Josh probably wouldn't have tried to kill Ryan because he would have found out what really happened to his sister and would probably be there for his niece.

Nick never would have went to juvie in Maine. IDK if he would have ever ended up in HB. He most likely never would have left Florida...although I suppose he could have visited HB with his football friends? Maybe that's how he would meet up with the rest of the Drew Crew?

Nancy still would have been a curious person, but I think she would be "lighter" if you know what I mean.

Ryan would definitely be different. He'd probably be super well-adjusted and responsible.
