I did! They talk a lot about fandoms and diversity on TV which are both pretty interesting to me so I liked it actually.

I don't understand the hate either. They couldn't just like remake the books for TV, they have to innovate a little.

I don't even care about the books tbh. I read a couple when I was a kid, but I barely remember anything. It's fun for some cute Easter Eggs. I'm glad the showrunners already said they will never straight adapt any of the books. I wouldn't know the difference anyway.

I think people need to let it go and just embrace the differences. It's not the books or the games. It's it's own thing.

I hope so too, but if this fandom gets bigger...it will get crazier and it will put pressure on the actors. I've already seen some crazy and this fandom is smaller compared to others I've been involved with...now multiply that by 10000 and you have problems.

This is exactly it! The Easter eggs are cool but yeah it has to be its own thing.

Well, wasn't he only in Season 1? Did he ever come back after that? I never watched the show, but I've seen some clips.

I think the original intention was to start next week, but I keep reading/hearing that nearly everything was pushed back because of issues with COVID protocols. As far as I know, it's still some time in August. However, the cast isn't even in Vancouver yet and they still have to go through the 14-day quarantine before starting to film. Still looking around for more information, but once we start to see the cast move, we'll know it's nearly time.

I realize it's nothing exciting, but it's better than nothing.

I still have to fix up the first post. Maybe I'll work on that a bit this weekend.
