I don't watch Riverdale so I don't know how it compares. I started watching the show because I always loved the books. This is different in many ways from the books but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I honestly am loving this much darker and different tale so far. It doesn't change my love for the original Nancy Drew or anything.

I'd honestly have to agree with this. It almost feels like Riverdale 2.0. Even with Nancy narrating the show, it seems almost like when Jughead narrates in Riverdale. Even with Riverdale.. the show started off with a murder (but they thought it was an accidental death at the time obv), and apparently that's how this is starting out too.
So I hope they change things up some so it will feel like it's own thing.

This ep was overall good so I will see how it goes too.

At least not as far as Tiffany Hudson's death is concerned.

We know that somebody killed Lucy Sable, and her ghost is pretty clearly legit trying to get Nancy to figure out who.

I firmly believe that Lucy frightened Tiffany to death in order to get Nancy's attention, and since the perpetrator of Tiffany's death is a ghost, there was no murder.

Nancy has graduated high school so she's 18. I think she got depressed when her mom died to go to college so it's why she works at the diner. I am kind of glad we're not having a high school setting it's intresting so far

Either 18 or 19, could've sworn I saw 19 somewhere. But 18 is more likely. Not in high school is a nice change.

Nancy was still in High School when her mom died, and in her grief, she ended up tanking her grades and not being able to go to Columbia as a result.

She could be 19 to since she said a year ago she was a high school queen. It is understandable that she lost herself in grief. Hopefully she'll try and get her education locally in the future
