WOW this episode was intense.

Looks like everyone knows now that Ryan is Nancy's biological dad and that Lucy was her mom.

THAT ENDING OMG. So woah... I'm sure some people aren't going to be happy about Owen. Though they should've seen that coming when they didn't pay the toll.

I had no idea there was a new episode last night. I saw no advertising for it. I thought all the cw shows were going to be repeats for a while. I guess I will have to see if this is available on demand to watch.

I cry. Next ep is going to be season finale cuz it was originally supposed to be a 22 episode season but not now

did I? I dont remember doing that at all? id I did I didnt pay attention to when it was airing.

anyways, I watched the episode on demand. what an intense episode. and OMG that ending. I was not expecting that at all. I am not an Owen fan at all, but I didnt want that him to die. but I guess I should have expected that since the toll wanted all of his blood. so now that it has it, well the rest of them stop getting the hallucinations ?

Yeah I wasn't thrilled that he wanted to do that.
I was really liking the Ryan/Nancy scenes. I thought they would really bond as father and daughter. But then he had to go and say that.

So, this was the first episode I ever watched live (live-ish). I think I waited to watch after it recorded on my DVR to avoid commercials.

I don't think I was that surprised by Owen dying. He was a guest star and although I liked him and Nancy together (because I do not like her with Nick and actually didn't watch the show at first cause of them), I never thought they were anything more than a temporary thing. He was her escape from her real life. Plus, it was kinda weird that 30 year old guy would want to be a 19 year old girl's boyfriend and hang out with her friends. I was more surprised that it wasn't a supernatural death. I thought that was a great twist.

Plus, by this point...I was shipping Nancy/Ace already.

Just rewatched!

• The fight between Nancy and Carson is so good! Kennedy and Scott are both awesome in it.
• Carson was doing what he thought was best....I hope Nancy comes to see that eventually.
• "They can't do it with mom in the house" George's sisters are so funny. But aw George and Nick together!
• Uh oh the portents are starting.
• Did we ever find out who vandalized Carson's car? Or is that something that got lost when the season ended early.
• Nick helping him is a little awkward. Him saying that Nancy and Carson must have celebrated when they actually had a huge fight
• Ace walking in on Bess and Lizbeth making out lol
• Ew bugs....ew severed finger....ew sand crabs....Miss Aglaeca is really mad
• Aw Victoria calling Bess "Bessie is cute" and how she lights up when she hears Bess on the phone
• Ace's face knowing that Carson isn't a blood relative of Nancy's I mean like we alredy know he's loyal and would do anything for Nancy but him keeping the secret for her was big!
• Owen looking after Nancy in this scene is kind of cute. But Ace being the one to pick her up and go after her is
• I kind of love how Ryan puts everything together on his own. He's pretty smart! And was really devoted to Lucy.
• Oooo Nick and George having their kiss while talking about blood rituals! And Bess walking in during it "you were looking for portents....in each other's mouths"
• Ryan is such a rich guy at the clinic "What if I bought this place"
• Ryan: "I had horrible parental role models as you know." I can't imagine Everett and Celia ever being nurturing. But Nancy does have a point about how Ryan can choose to be better.
• Ew Nancy's hair falling out
• "Sea spirit....like dolphins" (If the Hudsons are at least kind of local shouldn't Ryan know about the Aglaeca?)
• Nancy explaining the ritual makes it sound soooo crazy.
• Ryan is pretty awful talking about Owen here. But Kennedy is awesome going off on him!
• Aw Carson is so worried about Nancy
• Bess's dress is pretty! And rich people parties look like fun!
• Cousin Isaac! I had forgotten him till he came up in the recurring characters thread tbh but it's good to see him again!
• "She hates me" Bess jumping to conclusions...it reminds me of me
• The Marvins have to walk around eggshells on Diana dang
• Ryan to Nancy: "you're smarter than that, that sounds like something I would say"
• Carson: "Are you alright" Nancy: "no"
• I kind of feel like Ryan would have been a good dad? Maybe just because I'm writing fic about that now, but if he'd been in Nancy's life and raised her on his own, I feel like he would have been a good dad (after he cut off his entire family)
• Ace starting the incantation so Nancy doesn't have to explain This ritual is a tough scene for Nancy. Kennedy is really good in it though!
• Diana is a master manipulator
• Oooo more portents, the ritual didn't work
• Oh I totally forgot about this....the Aglaeca was of human origin and a person who was tied at the hands and feet and thrown in the ocean....hmmmmm.
• Oh no Owen and Nancy has to see him like that after everything else this episode.

This is another solid episode! It's a rough one for Nancy though. In one of the interviews I watched I remember Kennedy saying it was tough for her to film. Nancy has so many emotional moments it must have been really draining for her.

I thought Nancy did it? Although it's a miracle she was able to jump out the window and then have time to find nails to put in his tires?

Ryan probably never paid attention to anything other than partying. I bet Celia and Everett know though.

Nancy had a real rough time in the last few episodes of the season. I feel bad for her.
