Episode Discussion

With time running out, Nancy (Kennedy McMann) and the Drew Crew come up with a plan
that they think might help reverse the curse that the Aglaeca placed on them.
Leah Lewis, Alex Saxon, Tunji Kasim, Maddison Jaizani and Riley Smith also star.

Me too! I honestly have no idea what to expect other than The Drew Crew fighting the Aglaeca and Nick/George stuff from the promos.

Also, I saved a super special Buffy gif for this episode! It's from a Season 3 episode...so I don't think you're that far yet!

This was another great episode! I'll have to rewatch to get more coherent thoughts but so far

-Loved Nick and George and Ace and his dad
-I screamed when Nancy said bitch
-Tamura is gonna be all over the Drew Crew the next few episodes...along with the Aglaeca
-Poor AJ
-Hannah Gruen backstory? I did not see that coming but I kinda love it.

I still have to rewatch it in full again...but initial thoughts...

- ACE! He was a star in this episode. Loved him investigating on his own, breaking into Tamura's office, stealing back the skull, all the stuff with his dad, and the dinner with Tamura. I MEAN...Tamura is DEFINITELY not gonna take the L with this one. He can't stand The Drew Crew meddling with his stuff. He's 100% coming for them...and IMHO he's gonna come for Ace. Because he can stick it to Ace and stick it to Nancy by taking her hacker away. Because Tamura's a baby jackass and will drudge up stuff from Ace's past as well to punish him, Nancy, and the rest of the gang.

- Nancy and her dads. I loved how they all helped lay Lucy to rest. It was such a touching moment. Of course, I can't find the song that played...YET. ETA: FOUND THE SONG. It's called "High Old Stars" by Annie Williams.

- I never would have pegged Bess as a fan of horror fiction...but I'm guessing she used reading as a way to cope.

- Nick/George. Loved how sweet they were together and how despite everything George was helping him find a house. I also loved how they took the truck back and had sex in it.

- Also loved seeing Queen Aglaeca at the end there. She's not happy. And she also doesn't take returns or issue refunds.

-Nancy/Ace!

Even though there was a ton going on...they still managed to give them some cute moments...ESPECIALLY when they were LITERALLY WALKING ON TOP OF EACH OTHER.

THIS is how to you do a slow-burn. He's completely her partner-in-crime. They are each other's perfect match! I can't wait until they realize it.

I loved Nancy and her dads laying lucy to rest. that was such a great scene.

I also loved the nick/George scenes too. and how they took the truck back. no more being scared.

I felt so bad for AJ though. but at least he isn't being haunted by the aglaeca anymore

Damn the Aglaeca is creepy. Especially at the end there...

This was a good ep.
I knew it wasn’t going to be that easy to “get rid” of the Aglaeca.

Too bad AJ had no way of surviving. Just imagine having to do what he did for 44 years and basically never be free to live your life.

Tamura is annoying. What’s his deal?

Loved the Nick/George scenes

and Nancy with her 2 dads. Does this mean Ryan and Carson have come to some sort of truce?

Nick/George were so precious. I absolutely love them together!

I'm sorry about AJ too, but I like how it showed that there's no escaping. I honestly have no idea how they're gonna beat the Aglaeca. Maybe the power of friendship?

I definitely need a rewatch to catch more details. I have a lot of schoolwork this weekend but I'll def do it before the next episode.
