My Kind Of Crazy 11-04-2019 05:13 PM

i felt bad for beth in this ep.
being scared and held against her will in that house.
i wonder how long she was there for? and how did she finally escape and what happened to that man that held her there? (we already know what happened to johnny)

im glad Jacob Kane now knows the truth that Alice is really Beth. even if she is a total psychopath. hopefully Kate will fill him in on some of her backstory as to what happened to her.

Yeah, wow, what a great episode. So good. Like Ruby Rose, this is my favorite so far.

This was my favorite episode yet. Alice, and her backstory was so interesting. It is so sad. Alice was clearly warped by this horrible experience. Her connection with Kate is the most interesting part of the show. I also felt for Mouse, even if it was awful he didn't help Beth escape. It's understandable he wouldn't betray his father and sadly, he felt like Beth was the only friend he'd ever have for the rest of his life. His dad was clearly an abusive psychopath who seemed convinced (in such a paranoid, delusional way) that his son could never have any kind of life outside of their house.

The sibling connections are intriguing, and the slightly odd sister platonic triangle between Mary/Kate/Alice. Alice is jealous that Kate "replaced" her with Mary, while Mary is always trying to connect with Kate, but Kate never fully reciprocating, seemingly more interested in her murderous twin. You just know the "triangle" is here to stay.

Mary is my favorite character and her drunken breakdown was both hilarious and sad. I also thought she had pretty solid chemistry with Luke. I’m thinking romance is in the cards. If so, that would bring Mary into the Bat Team.

Alice is really blaming the wrong people though. Jacob and Kate couldn’t magically sense her presence (twin connection or not, Kate is not psychic) even if it was such a hell on earth situation for Beth/Alice.

Catherine at least she told Mary the truth. I’m still trying to figure out what is up with her, she seemed really genuine when she said she wanted to give Jacob and Kate closure, but a part of me wonders if there’s more to be revealed. I really could see her life coming to an end in the not so distant future. Maybe she sacrifices herself?

As a psychologist the Alice storyline is my cup of tea...

I feel for Beth and have great concern for Alice.

Also, she calls Mouse brother because of Stockholm Syndrome. I think he probably helped her kill their "father" aka Hannibal Lecter.

Last stuff:

- I think Rachel and Ruby play off each other really well. Sizzling chemistry.

- I feel the romantic chemistry between Kate & Sophie. It's there even if the story has a long way to go. Sophie's already convinced Kate is Batwoman, though. She has been since The Pilot so I look forward to her finally becoming a part of the Team.

- Rachel Skarsten reminds me of Emily VanCamp. Anyone who knows me understands what that statement truly means... she has that unteachable, amazing natural acting talent which is rare. Like Emily should have received an Emmy for Amy's Season 2 Depression storyline (and would have gotten a nod at the very least, if on another network) same thing with Rachel Skarsten on Batwoman. Both women are brilliant actresses.

I really love this show. I never expected to love it this much. Honestly? I look forward to a new episode of this series more than anything else I am currently watching.

I also really enjoyed this episode, learning more about Beth/Alice. I can see why she considers Mouse her brother with having spent more time with him than she would have with her blood family growing up.

Same! I am wondering if it's just because the show is new and fresh, but it is really good.

Wow. I don't know what else to say about that episode.

I kept thinking though that Jonathon is Jonathon Crane, aka Scarecrow but nope, different character.

I’ve heard of adopted siblings, but never abducted siblings.
