I love Michelle (the best MJ so far) I loved her even more after hearing her characterization was inspired by MTV's Daria (another favorite character of mine) I like how blunt and real she is, plus her chemistry with TH/Peter is the cherry on top. Can't wait to see more of her in Spiderman 3.

The only thing I don't like about her is the whole fake wokeness thing. I grew up on Daria and she was anything but woke. She was a sarcastic, cynical person who didn't have time for people's s**t. She had very bleak and negative view of her peers. MJ's behavior flies in the face of people who are even remotely woke.
Why randomly throw that in? Unless the whole woke thing is her being facetious, it's a bit pointless. It doesn't add anything to the character. That being said,she's a very cool cat. She reminds me of me and my friends in high school. It's more realistic than the teenagers in the other movies. Gwen was pretty and popular and Peter was cool, sexy and broody. That...is not real life. Most of us were awkward, going through average puberty issues and weren't popular or a nerd. Most people just existed. __________________

I agree that I wished she was in Homecoming more, but when she showed up she had some great gems. I loved when she flipped off Peter when he first showed up to the dance lmao.

She was amazing in FFH. I'm glad she got more screen time and we learned more about her. Especially the cuteness with her and Peter.
