I agree. Even before Jules said it out loud, it's obvious that's how she felt. I don't remember which episode it was, but at the end of the episode Rue and Jules were laying in bed together. They panned in on Jules face and she looked scared to death. You could tell there she felt ALL the weight of Rue's sobriety depending on her (It was all over her face) I felt bad for her, that's too much pressure for someone to deal with.

I know exactly which episode you're referring to! Despite it being a lot for Jules to handle, it wasn't Rue's fault. They both have so much to learn but Rue was the first one to accept their relationship wasn't right. That's why she didn't get on the train.

I'm not blaming Rue, just saying it's obvious that's how Jules felt but that's why a drug addict shouldn't base their sobriety on another person. It was always best for Rue to stay sober for herself for them to have a future.

I agree which is why I prefer them as friends, at least for now and especially after watching Jules' episode.
